Welcome to the LMBC Home Page

Lionmede Bowls Club became an established club in 1954. It caters for bowlers wishing to just socialise and keep active, as well as bowlers wishing to compete at County and National levels. There are many club events during the season and the opportunity to play in both competitive and friendly games for all.

It is a sport which is open to men and women of all ages and abilities, which is both friendly and competitive. Whether you've never played before or are an existing bowler looking for a club to join, then we would love to hear from you. We can provide tuition and coaching sessions if required. Looking for a new sport - why not have a go at Lawn Bowls?

The club is available on Weekdays from 2pm until dark

The club is available at Weekends from 10am until dark

Please use the Sandford Road carpark, as the Springfield Road carpark is primarily for other park activities and also has a 2 hour parking restriction on weekdays up to 6.30pm.
