Welcome to Lionmede Bowls club
Lionmede Bowls Club became an established club in 1954. It caters for bowlers wishing to just socialise and keep active, as well as bowlers wishing to compete at County and National levels. There are many club events during the season and the opportunity to play in both competitive and friendly games for all.
It is a sport which is open to men and women of all ages and abilities, which is both friendly and competitive. Whether you’ve never played before or are an existing bowler looking for a club to join, then we would love to hear from you. We can provide tuition and coaching sessions if required. Looking for a new sport – why not have a go at Lawn Bowls?
Presidents Day 2026
A lovely afternoon organised by Doreen Cox, this year’s President.
The winners of the 4321 competition were Brian Pepper and Jill Hollick. Well done to winners and all who took part. £192 was raised for Farleigh’s Hospice
Craft Afternoons
14th October – Jill Hollick and Sandra Moore 2pm – £2.50 tea and biscuits included.
18th November – Bags with Doreen Cox – 2pm Materials provided £5 including refreshments
9th December – Logs and Wreaths with Jane Crocomb. Everything provided £2.50 includng refreshments
