Friday Night Triples
FRIDAY TRIPLES LEAGUE 2024
RULES
The first matches in the Friday triples league will be played on Friday 10 May 2024 and will run through the season until the finish on 16 August 2024.
As usual matches will be of 18 ends or until an earlier finish as decided by the skips on the night. Start time will be 6pm so if everyone can arrive on time that would be good. There will be no trial ends.
This will be a league table format and 2 points will be awarded for a win and 1 point each if the game is a tie. At the completion of the competition, shot difference will be a deciding factor if teams finish on the same points total.
In the event of a cancelled match owing to the weather both teams will be awarded 1 point. The matches will be deemed as having been played. In the event of an abandonment the result will stand where a minimum of 10 ends have been bowled.
After the games could the results (both games scorecards) be pinned up on the triples board in the LION’S DEN.
You will be allocated to a team and your team captains will be in touch to start the process of selection for games.

GREEN – DAVE WITHAMS
If , for whatever reason, you are unable to play in a game you have been selected for, it will be YOUR responsibility to contact your captain in advance so that a replacement player may be found.
